About Us
JesterComedy was created by JC Anderson, a comedian, in 2008 and has been the longest running comedy businesss in Northern Arizona. JesterComedy has been providing comedy for several organizations in Northern Arizona and currently runs a monthly comedy show at the Historic Orpheum Theater, located in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Jc was involved in the production and success of the Big Pine Comedy Festivals that was held in Flagstaff in 2018 and 2019. Since the world stood still in 2020 and Big Pine has relocated; JC feels that Flagstaff was a great location for “Jest Another Comedy Festival” and hopes to continue the past success of Big Pine and continue to grow the comedy scene. Flagstaff is a huge location for several types of festivals and gets lots of tourist throughout the year for camping, events and skiing.
Orpheum Theater
Flagstaff has had its share of opera houses, movie theaters, dance halls and other entertainment venues through the years, but only one has stood the test of time and endures as an icon of Flagstaff ’s vibrant downtown landscape. Located on the site of a former chicken yard, the Orpheum Theatre’s presence—one might say its personality—is one that triggers even the casual visitor to utter, “If only these walls could talk.” For a century, it has been a center for the performing and cinematic arts in Flagstaff.
